Bagels are like some people say store bought. Not fresh at all no taste they crumple when you eat them. Not sure if owners changed years ago long time ago they were the best not anymore Middle Village bagels are the best bagels not sure if it is a flour issue not even able to find descent bread in town

A&S Bagels in West Hempstead has been one of my favorite local spots for years. In fact, I've been coming here since I was a teenager, and it's great to see that they continue to deliver the same quality and service that made me a customer all those years ago. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by a friendly and welcoming staff who make you feel appreciated. The service is efficient, even during the busy morning rush, and the employees always seem to work hard to keep things moving while maintaining a positive attitude. The bagels are outstanding—always fresh, flavorful, and made with the perfect combination of a slightly crisp exterior and a soft, chewy interior. Whether it's an everything bagel, sesame, plain, or one of their other varieties, the quality is consistently excellent. Their cream cheese selections are also fresh and generous, and their breakfast sandwiches are made to order and packed with flavor. First time here with my husband and the bagels tasted amazing! So fresh and perfect amount of cream cheese. The woman who took my order was very nice. I called ahead to place my order and it was ready in the few mins it took me to get there. I like the fact that they have a wide variety of drinks, bakery and menu items. Plus they are open 24/7! This is our new Go to spot!

They incorrectly collected sales tax on non prepared bagels. Bagels and lox cream cheese werent that great and were a bit on the thin side. The saving grace about this place is it’s open 24 hours but you could also grab a 7-11 bagel and not know the difference.
